1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WISP ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WISP is a privacy-first content sharing platform that allows users to create, store and share text-based content ("pastes"). The Service offers both free and paid tiers with varying capabilities.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Upload, share or distribute illegal content — including but not limited to content that violates applicable laws, promotes violence, or facilitates criminal activity.

Abuse the platform — including automated mass creation of pastes, circumventing rate limits or quota restrictions, or any activity intended to degrade the Service for other users.

Distribute malware — including viruses, trojans, ransomware, or any software designed to harm systems or users.

Harass or threaten others — the Service must not be used to target, intimidate or harm individuals or groups.

4. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you create and share through the Service. WISP does not monitor content proactively, but reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

Encrypted pastes are stored in a way that prevents the Service from reading their content. Responsibility for encrypted content lies entirely with the creator.

5. Content Removal and Moderation

WISP reserves the right to remove any content that is found to violate these terms, applicable laws, or that poses a risk to the platform or its users. This includes content flagged by users or identified through platform monitoring.

WISP reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

6. VIP Plans and Payments

Paid plans ("VIP") provide enhanced limits and features for a fixed duration. VIP plans are non-refundable once activated. Upon expiration, accounts are automatically downgraded to the free tier.

7. Privacy

WISP is designed as a privacy-first platform. We do not store raw IP addresses. Anti-abuse systems use irreversible daily-rotating hashes. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. WISP does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, data preservation beyond stated retention periods, or fitness for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WISP and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

WISP reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
